Processing Your Own Online Payments

When we first started selling Cocoa apps, we used KAGI for my payment processing services. While we have no complaints about KAGI or their service, as our business grew, it made sense to setup our own store and process our own payments.

The following set of articles details how we did this and is intended to server as a tutorial for anyone wishing to do the same.

I’m using a PHP/JavaScript system because that’s what I’m familiar with and that is what my web host supports. If your web host supports Ruby on Rails, then you’ll save a lot of time by downloading the Potion Store from the folks over at Potion Factory.
