Leave my browser alone Verizon
October 11th, 2006When I was setting up my Verizon DSL, I discovered that it is required for you to use their little instalation kit before you can access the internet.
That isn’t so bad, however when the installation process got to this point:
I must say that I wasn’t too keen on what was to come. Why is adding “Fun broadband sites” to my favorites Required?
And do I really want to let Verizon “Personalize” my browser? I don’t think so.
Thankfully, doing a force quit of the application at this point leaves my browser intact and still allows me to access the internet.
I really dislike the way Verizon acts as an organization. I could site several instances, but I will save the true rants for my own blog.
For some reason, I still end up using their services.
How is the DSL service with them, otherwise?
